A brilliant scholar, Eleanor graduated valedictorian from the Geneva School of Boerne, Summa Cum Laude from Biola University in California, and was pursuing her JD at UT Law at the time of her death. She planned to use her education to serve the most marginalized in our society.
A loyal friend, sister, and daughter, she impacted lives from Boerne to California and in all the other places where she lived and studied. People who spent time with her were always changed for their good.
A devoted wife, she loved and served together with Jake every day, looking forward to a lifetime of working together to love others well, as they have been loved by God in their lives.
Eleanor loved to welcome others locally through hospitality and home-cooked meals. She always wanted to join God's work as she saw Him moving in the world to care for the stranger, the hungry, the weak, and the oppressed. Her faith motivated her to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God and His children.
Eleanor is survived by her husband Jake Roberts, parents Autumn Dawn and David Galbreath, siblings Coggin Galbreath (Ryan Hay) and Norah Galbreath, sister-by-choice Anna Riedlinger, and grandparents Olivia and Richard Eudaly and Susan Galbreath, as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends throughout the country and the world.
