

Mary Helen Haynes Foster passed away on April 21, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma April 12, 1931 along with her twin brother Robert (Bunny). Her parents were Mary Ella Margrave and Joseph Harold Haynes. She had an older sister, Sue Josephine, and a younger brother John. She lived in Tulsa until moving to Washington, DC. Mary Helen met her husband Wallace (Dutch) in Washington while she was working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They married September 15, 1956. They lived in Lexington, Kentucky and Austin, Texas and raised four sons. Mary Helen enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and visiting with family and friends. Her pride and joy was the family she raised and she continued to positively influence them over the years. She was very kind to pets and over the years adopted many cats and dogs. She is survived by her husband Dutch Foster and four sons Bob, Jack, Joe (all of Austin) and Clay (Los Angeles), their spouses Lois, Kellie, Rhonda and Kirk Hunt and 7 grandchildren Kim, Robert Michael, Katherine, Jenny, Mary, Jackson and Annie. Her brother John Haynes of Tulsa also survives her. She wishes to thank Yvonne, Mercedes, Nora and Priscilla for all their caretaking assistance these past few years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22nd at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
