

Mary Kathryan Hudnall-Baker, age 82 of Creedmoor, Texas passed unto the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2015. She was born on Wednesday, September 13, 1933 to Col. and Mrs. H. H. Stewart in De Kalb, Texas. Mary Kathryan graduated from Southwest Texas University and obtained a Masters Degree of Education from Antioch College. She worked closely with the University of Texas Student Teacher program where she truly enjoyed sharing and passing on her knowledge and teaching skills. Mary Kathryan retired from the Austin Public School System after 31 years of teaching. Mary Kathryan enjoyed traveling extensively in the United States and Canada. She also traveled through Europe, the Middle East, Mediterranean, Australia and the Panama Canal Zone.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, James H. Hudnall Sr., and Chester C. Baker.
Mary Kathryan is survived by her son, James H. Hudnall Jr. and wife Janice D.; grandson, Russell W. Hudnall and wife Susan; great-grandson, Peyton K. Hudnall; stepsons, Mr. and Mrs. Jason M. Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff L. Baker, Mr. Jon D. Baker.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Assumption Mausoleum Chapel.
