Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jason; her parents, Harry and Mary Ann Sharples; and her three sisters, Sophie, Kathleen, and Joan.
She is survived by her children, April Rouse and (husband Alan); Jason Hurd; Brenda Johnson and (husband David); grandchildren, Elizabeth Moeck (husband Jay), Victoria Kubecka (husband Eric), Jason Robert (Rob) Hurd, Ross Johnson, and Rachel Johnson; great-grandchildren, Max and Chloe Moeck, Grace and Nathan Rubecka; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary grew up in Warrington, England, and came to the U.S., as a G.I. bride in 1946. In her last years, she enjoyed living in assisted living and playing bingo and Skip-Bo with her many friends there, and her apartment was decorated with many cats.
The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, June 3, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow after service at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
