Mary Younes Joseph

Mary Younes Joseph died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at her home. She was 95. Mary was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 12, 1912 to Joseph S. Younes and Jamila Constantine Younes. She was graduated from Main Ave. High School and attended Westmoreland College, Our Lady of the Lake College and the University of Texas. In 1933 she married Philip L. Joseph who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Lynch; brother, Sam Younes; and sisters, Julia Younes, Vicky Okies and Adele Casseb. Survivors include daughters, Susan Joseph and Janice Hogarty of Austin and Phyllis Massad of Corpus Christi; sister, Eugenia Bertetti of San Antonio; grandchildren, Mike and Matt Massad of Corpus, Marianna Massad of Austin, Will Lynch of San Antonio, John Lynch of Austin, Laura Augsburger of Mishawaka, Indiana and Melissa Daywood of Austin; great-grandchildren, Bridget Lynch, Philip, Daniel and Madeline Augsburger, Sophia Massad, Bonnie and Coalter Daywood and many loving nieces and nephews. A Trisagion will be held Sunday, August 12th at 5:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
