Mary Ann McDonald passed peacefully from this earthly life to her eternal reward on April 12, 2021, with family members at her side. She was born September 10, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI to Hugh D. and Genrose McDonald, the oldest of five children. She moved with her family and completed her education in several different states. During her career, Mary Ann worked as an administrative assistant to the court system and commercial companies. She had a strong work ethic and forged lasting relationships with her co-workers.
Mary Ann had a quick wit and dry sense of humor. She was a loyal friend and confidant, and an unwavering supporter of those she held close. Mary Ann was unfailingly modest and shied away from attention or recognition. She was deeply loved by her family members and friends.
Mary Ann overcame many struggles in life and was always empathetic to those who were less fortunate and those who faced similar challenges. A Catholic from her baptism in infancy, Mary Ann’s faith was re-ignited in recent years. She found tremendous refuge and strength in her Catholic faith in daily challenges, including her recent illness. Mary Ann held a special devotion to Divine Mercy, and the guidance of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception.
