Born in Lafayette, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edward and Glayda Schneider. She graduated from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with a registered nursing diploma. In 1975 she earned a BSN degree from Purdue University. Over the years she has worked as a registered nurse, a real estate agent, and a personal assistant in the local building industry.
Mary was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church where she participated in numerous ministries. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and traveling, and she was able to inspire others in these endeavors. She will be remembered for her strength and fierce love of family and friends.
Mary is survived by her husband, William Savoldi; her three children, Stephen Savoldi and wife Doreen, Joseph Savoldi, and Rheta Jeter and husband Michael; her grandchildren, Christina Gober and husband Gary, Joe Savoldi, Keaton Jeter, and Marissa Jeter and her great-grandchild Elijah Gober. She was predeceased by her parents Glayda and Edward Schneider, her sister Gladys King, and her daughter in law Mary Savoldi.
We will miss her greatly and treasure the time we had her in our lives.
