Mary Catherine Ray Taylor died peacefully at home on January 19, 2008, after a long illness. Mary was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on January 25, 1939. Mary completed her education at the University of Houston, and became a CPA in 1988. She was employed by several major corporations before retiring in 1992. She was preceded in death by infant son, Michael Thomas Taylor; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Ray; and brother, Robert Ray. She is survived by her husband, Joel; daughter and son-in-law, Whitney and Paul Barnes; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and JoAn Taylor; brother, Frank Ray; grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Barnes and Isabella Taylor. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2008 at The Lakeway Church in the Remembrance Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to the American Lung Association.
