Mary Lee Urbanski

Mary Lee Urbanski, born on January 25, 1937, in Elroy, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Austin, Texas. Mary was the cherished daughter of Max and Olga Kretschmar. She graduated from Travis High School and built a fulfilling career as a bookkeeper for PepsiCo, where she eventually retired.

Mary was a devoted member of the Salem Lutheran Church, where she found great comfort and community throughout her life. Her commitment to her faith and her church was evident in her active participation in various church activities.

Mary will be remembered for her warm spirit, her dedication to her profession, and her deep faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew her. Mary's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Edmund Urbanski, her parents Max and Olga Kretschmar, brothers Jesse Kretschmar and Max Kretschmar Jr. Mary is survived by her daughter, Susan Steger and husband Gary; son, Jeff Urbanski and wife Rhonda; grandchildren Anthony Urbanski and spouse Amanda, Aaron Steger and spouse Kiesha, Cassi Nickel and spouse David, Jessica Steger, Brandon Urbanski and spouse Kristi; nine great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Brayden , Aliyah and Brentley, Kaisley, Kelsey, Karlee Urbanski, Isabella and David Nickel.

Honoring Mary and serving as Pallbearers will be Aaron Steger, Anthony Urbanski, Brandon Urbanski, David Nickel, Ronald Hohertz and Brian Reiley.
