Mattie passed away unexpectedly August 22, 2015. She grew up in Adamsville, Tennessee, graduated valedictorian and attended Business School in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1957 Mattie married E. Joe Duckworth, a marriage until he passed away in 2001. Mattie had many friends and to mention them all would be writing a book. Her passion in life was the enchantment of New Mexico, wildlife and support of different charities. Mattie you will be missed.
Mattie is survived by her son, Joe W. Duckworth; granddaughter, Kayla M. Duckworth; nieces; and cousins.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.
