Maxine Avis Ward Kenady

Maxine was born in Pflugerville, Texas to parents Myrtle and Hubbard Ward. She was preceded in death by husbands, Herbert (Poochie) Edwards and Orman Kenady; sisters, Thelma, Flolissa, Marguerite; and brother, Comel. She is survived by her children, Cheryl DeGroot and husband Steve, Dean Kenady and wife Toni; grandchildren, Gabriel and wife Renee, Clayton and wife Karol, Jacob, Amy, Marissa and Alex; great-granddaughter Gabrielle; sister, Rhoda Griffith; and multiple nieces and nephews. The family celebrates her life and the example she set by her faith in God. Family visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2006 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Oakwood Cemetery Annex, with a Memorial service at 11:00 am at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church. Family and friends are invited to a reception at the church immediately following the service. The family would like to express their gratitude and prayers to all the friends and family who have been so caring and helpful. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Charity of your choice.
