Michael C. Guajardo

The world's light shines dimmer lately as our Heavenly Father called Michael C. Guajardo on April 11, 2021. My uncle Mikie will be remembered for his fierce strength, free-spoken nature, sense of humor, and spending time with his son when he could. He loved his son Steven James with all his heart.

Michael C. Guajardo, of Austin, Texas, was born to Leopoldo and Sandy Guajardo. He graduated from Crockett High School. When he was 15, he started his career working alongside his parent's company Guajardo Landscaping, Inc. as a heavy machine operator for many years and worked at several other companies too. He enjoyed listening to music and dancing. He was so determined to walk and drive again and believed in God with all his heart. He gave God his life seven years ago, and he never lost his faith. He was loved and will be missed by many.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather Catalino Contreras, Grandmother Santos Cantu Guajardo, his brother James C. Guajardo, grandfather Santiago Guajardo, grandmother Fermina (Memo) Riojas Contreras, his mother Santos (Sandy) C. Guajardo, sister Cynthia Guajardo Solis, and father Leopoldo (Polo) C. Guajardo.

Michael is survived by his only child Steven James Guajardo. His only surviving sister Gina (Alfredo) Lozada; niece Cindy (Eric) Hernandez, Raquel (Kent) Avila, Roxanne (Ulises) Solis, and Destiny (Freddy) Ramirez, Guadalupe, Yadhyra , and Evelyn Lozada; Great-nephews and nieces Anthony, Amarissa, Adrian(AJ) Lucero, Juliana and Jose (JoJo) Castro, Kayla Avila many other loving family members and friends. May he rest in peace.

Visitation Services will be held at: April 21, 2021, 5-8pm

Funeral/Graveside Services: April 22, 2021. 11a-12:30 pm
