Michael Hardin Molloy lost his short brave struggle against lung cancer on August 2, 2007 in Austin, Texas. He was born May 23, 1954 in Harvey, Illinois and grew up in nearby Park Forest. Michael came to Texas in 1972. He was a talented artist, musician, and a gourmet chef. He was known for his wit and sense of humor, his intelligence, his love of dogs, reading, computers, Alfa Romeos, and other toys. Michael was an expert x-ray technician, a well-respected member of the emergency room team at Brackenridge Hospital, where he worked almost up to his last days. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, his many friends, and his families. He is survived by his partner of 26 years, Ray "Bokie" Berger and his family, his mother Harriet of Arizona; his brothers, Dan of Ohio, Kevin of Austin; his sister Molly and her husband Joe Altimus of California, and his dear dog, Tucker.
