Michael Edward Stathos

Michael attended McCallum High School and worked as a journeyman drywall carpenter in association with Carpenters Union Local #1266 in Austin, Texas until 1986 when he became disabled. He lovingly hand-fed and hand-tamed baby cockatiel birds, and loved music, NHRA drag-racing and football.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Theodore George Stathos; and older brother George Theodore Stathos. He is survived by his mother, Jo Mae Linnebur; step-father Harold Linnebur; sister Dianna Joy Stathos; brother John Robert Stathos, and an extended family who miss him dearly.

Michael is also survived by Jan Marie Wilson who was his wife of 22 years, a loving companion, friend and caregiver until his passing.

A graveside service will be held for Michael at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731.
