Following a brief stint in the military, Michael made Austin his home. He had an amazing career as an optician. In January 2000, Michael joined doctors Donna and Steven Shepard to help create Austin Vision Associates.
Michael is survived by his parents, Bobbie and John Taucher and Stan and Grace Whitlow and by his sister, Sandie Whitlow and nephew, Jake. He also leaves behind a multitude of friends whose lives he has enhanced by his warmth, smile and exuberance. He will be missed. -RAWR-
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
