Miguel Angel Garay passed on November 26, 2022, at Ascension Seton Medical Center, Austin TX of pneumonia. He was born November 25th, 1950, in Santa Elena, Usulután, El Salvador. A beautiful and kind-hearted man who loved his family. He worked hard to give his children dreams he never thought could be his but dreamt of his children having everything that was important to him and having opportunities that he hoped they one day could have.
In his early teenage life, he worked as a road worker and later as a farmer. He wanted a better life for his family and faced the chance to move to Los Angeles, California in 1985. Once in California, he took the challenge of moving his family there. He worked hard as a warehouse operator and a few months later he sent for his wife and a few years later for his children, all of whom he was very happy and proud to see achieve the education and dreams he wished they had.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his cars, eating, watching football soccer, and the news every night. He enjoyed driving around town and going out to family parties.
He will be remembered by his children as a kind, soft-spoken, and gentle father who worked to make sure they had a better life than his and a world with more opportunities.
