My Sweet Milan,

Words could not describe what an honor and pleasure it was to care for you. Although my heart is broken I am pleased that I had the opportunity to know you and your wonderful parents. I will miss your sweet smiles whenever I tickled your belly. You will forever remain close to my heart. May you Rest In Peace sweet baby boy.

With all my love ~ Elisabeth (Elle) Russell

I had the pleasure of caring for Milan for his entire stay at Dell Children’s in the NICU. Seeing him grow from his first night there until his last night there was so special. Milan and I made so many memories from bath time to blowing kisses, to singing songs and playing peek a boo. I will be forever grateful for the lessons caring for him taught me. Getting the opportunity to work closely with Milan’s parents was amazing, they are absolutely incredible and have the biggest hearts. I will always keep a special place in my heart for Milan and his contagious smiles and laughs.

I had the honour of helping care for Milan during his time in the NICU at Dell Children’s. While we see a lot of babies, Milan was very special to me. I have so many memories of him, from the first time I met him in the first weeks of life, to the last time I saw him and he was blowing kisses. His strength was remarkable. His parents, incredible.

The world is a better place for having had Milan in it. My own life is richer from spending time with him and his family.
