Mildred Hart

Mildred Hart passed from this life on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at the age of 93. She had the genuine heart of a servant, and spent her lifetime humbly giving her love, joy, kindness, generosity and peace to her large family and many friends, always asking nothing in return.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Barney Hart, her brothers Robert and Franklin Fuchs, and sister Adeline Landua.

Mildred is survived by two sisters and a brother, Louise Jacob of Houston, Hildegard Lewis of Brenham, and Milton Fuchs of Houston; her daughters and their husbands, Donna Beth and Richard Woerndell and Janet and Robert Sopronyi; grandchildren, Michael Shane Poe, Adrianne Schroeder and husband Nathan, Kristin Boyd and husband Bobby, Rebecca and Lauren Sopronyi; and great grandchildren, Annabel and Eliza Schroeder, and Matthew, Michael, Lillian and Lydia Boyd; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and countless friends.

The family are grateful for the extraordinary care given by Harbor Hospice, especially Kathy, Laurie and Erma.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, February 19, 2016, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 2620 S. Congress.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 20, 2016, Park Hills Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
