On behalf of all members of Cosmopolitan International we were saddened to learn of the loss of our very first female International President. Kit made a lasting impact on our service club and was a dedicated officer and member. We will all miss her greatly.

I have many fond memories of Kit while serving togather as members of The Austin Cosmopolitan Club where Kit served on numerous boards and committies.  She also served as president of our club, Governor of the Southwestern Federation and President of Cosmopilitan International.  The last official act Kit performed was to install myself as Governor of the Southwestern Federation as well as the current slate of officers for the Austin Club.  We will all miss her.

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear.  We share your grief.

My dear Aunt Kit has left the world and us behind. We remember her wit and her spirit.  We miss her for her love and kindness.  And we know that her faith comforted her throughout her long life. I believe she now enjoys the company of family and friends who have gone before her and that she lives in the presence of almighty God.

Thank you, Aunt Kit, for all you mean to me.  I love you.

Kit enjoyed coffee and kept drinking it even when cold but one evening meal she thoroughly enjoyed was IHOP cheese blintz which she claimed were the best.
Our faith discussions lead her to find consolation in the Mantra,
'The kingdom of God is within'  This  journey within is the longest  we are all invited to take and Kit did it her way.

During our conversations about faith what became her mantra was, 'The kingdom of God is within'. This is the longest journey we all take when our outer lives come to closure we are called into the mystery within. Kit did it her way.

In the spirit of Kit's service as a volunteer with Seton for 25 years providing 38,580 volunteer hours, memorials in her name may be made to The Seton Fund, 1201 W. 38th Street, Austin, TX, 78705 or the charity of your choice. There will be no formal service.  Scott and I mourn her loss in our life but we also remember all the great fun we had traveling with Kit over the years. As well as all the other times we shared dinner, played cards, shopped or went to Dairy Queen for a blizzard.
