Mildred Reeves passed away peacefully on May 10, 2009 at Seton Hospital. Millie was born in Union, New Jersey on May 13, 1921 and married Harold Reeves on January 24, 1940 in Union at the Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church. They led a full and exciting life that included twenty-five years spent overseas in Latin America, Hong Kong, and Australia and have resided in Lakeway since 1985. Millie will be greatly missed by Harold, her loving husband of sixty-seven years; her children, Eileen Holbert and husband Hal, Thomas Reeves and wife Linda, and James Reeves and wife Linda; her grandchildren, Kristin McWilliams and husband Doug, Jimmy Holbert and wife Ashley, and Brandon and Lauren Reeves; great-grandchildren, Scott, Grant, and Megan McWilliams and Carter Holbert. The family wishes to thank her many Lakeway friends and neighbors for their kind support during this difficult time. A service will be held on Friday, May 15th at 11:30 AM at the Lakeway Church Memorial Gardens, 2203 Lakeway Blvd., Lakeway, Texas 78734. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lakeway Church, 2303 Lakeway Blvd., Lakeway, Texas.
