Milton A. Pankratz passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in San Marcos, Texas at the age of 82. Milton was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 26, 1936, where he resided until he married Patricia Pruett. He served in the U.S. Army, which took him to several locations throughout the United States, and later had a career in sales and management for Nunn Electric in Austin, Texas. After a long career, Milton retired to a country home in Wimberley, Texas with his second wife, Janice Musick. He had a gift of gab and enjoyed talking with family, friends, and strangers. In his retirement, he enjoyed volunteering in the community, puttering around his workshop, participating in community events, and especially the wildlife and sunsets from his back porch.
Milton was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia, and their daughter, Norva Cole. He is survived by his wife, Janice Musick, five step-children and their spouses, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by a nephew, three nieces, and numerous cousins. A Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park with a Graveside to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Milton’s honor to the charity of your choice.
