MILES, MINERVA G.A., 65, of Austin, died Sunday, May 28, 2006. She had been ill with Lymphoma since January. She had been a teacher and college professor for most of her life, and was well-known among swimmers at Stacey Pool in South Austin for more than twenty years. Dr. Miles is survived by her husband, Donald of Austin; her daughter, Juliette Miles Ritzman; grandsons, Austin and Garrett Ritzman of Ashland, Missouri; as well as by her son, Richard Miles; grandson, Christian Miles; granddaughters, Cecelia and Elena Miles of Washington, D.C. Visiting hours will be from 3:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 8 and from 1:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, June 9, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
