Minnie Muriel Sherman Glauninger

Minnie Muriel Sherman Glauninger, age 83, passed away May 22, 2010. She was born on March 15, 1927, in Austin to Alfred and Ada Nehring Sherman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dutch, and her son, Guy. She is survived by her two daughters, Gwen Glauninger and companion Bill McKinney, and Ginger Osgood and husband Doug; four grandchildren, Brett Enochs and wife Melissa, Erin Broberg and husband Eric, and Ryan and Alissa Osgood; sister, Carolyn Ruhmann, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Shu Mei Lee who provided continuing love and support to Minnie Muriel throughout the years. Minnie Muriel lived in Austin her entire life. She worked for various insurance agencies throughout her career. She loved to garden and take cruises and trips to Las Vegas and Louisiana. She enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. Her poodle Gizel, her constant companion, gave her much pleasure. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish North Lamar Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Austin Memorial Park with Pastor David Schroder officiating.
