

Mollie Ann Van Zandt, 78, of Austin, formerly of Giddings, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1947, and lived a life filled with faith, love, and devotion to her family and community.
Mollie was a woman of deep faith who loved attending church and praising the Lord. She was known for her beautiful sense of style, often wearing pretty suits and elegant hats that reflected her vibrant personality. Purple, her favorite color, seemed to follow her wherever she went — a reflection of her warmth and grace.
She found great joy in cooking big meals for her loved ones, bringing family and friends together around the table. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and lasting memories. Mollie also enjoyed going on long walks, taking time to appreciate the beauty of the world around her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Tiffany Van Zandt; her son, Fred P. Van Zandt Jr.; and a host of family members and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Mollie Ann Van Zandt will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering faith, her love of family, and the elegance she carried throughout her life. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
