Thinking of you with  warm heart and memories. I know your in a better place, pain free and full of furry friends.  

Thinking of Carrie today and praying she is in a place full of small dogs, cats and other animals she can love!  She was a champion for the rescue groups she worked with in Austin.

I was absolutely so saddened to hear of Carrie's passing.  I was also one of her mentees at ACC,  but also blessed to be able to work beside her for several years at the NRG Campus.  Carrie was always improving the school program, not only by training new professors, but  by giving her time and professional knowledge to new initiatives. Her students loved her.  Her warm and happy disposition made it easy to relate to, and learn from, her.  She often spoke of the church activities in which she participated . Carrie made a difference in my life that will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully, my friend. 

Thursday, March 3, 2016Thinking of and missing my very dear friend on her birthday!!!!  Carrie was such a joyful, caring person.  Our friendship began when we were in sixth grade.  Throughout our high school and college years, we were the best of friends.  She was my maid of honor, and I was hers.  Precious memories!!  Rest in peace, dear friend.

My deepest sympathies.  Carrie was a loving spirit who was always willing to help anyone.  She will be missed by her many friends and animals.  I enjoyed being Carrie's TA.  We shared a lot of laughs.

I was fortunate to have Carrie as my mentor when I began teaching Developmental Reading at NRG in the mid-90's. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, & caring attitude for her students gave me a solid start! I could never forget her.

Carrie was a good neighbor and friend for over 20 years.  We will miss her and the animals she loved so dearly.  May she rest in peace.

Carrie was a special lady, her huge heart and compassionate spirit will live on in the many ACC students and colleagues she touched along the way. I feel blessed to have known her and will cherish the memory of her.

Carrie was a valuable mentor to me and I am so very sorry for your loss.
