To Mae Ola, Gertrude, Sophia, and the Scott/Yarbrough/Davis Family!  I've know Gertrude all my life and Mae Ola and I love you Girls so much!  Mrs. Lula Mae was a very quiet, gentle, kind, and God loving Woman.  She will be missed.  Hold on to God's unchanging Hands.  West Texas

Lula worked with my parents and me at both the old/new Seton . I will miss my visits with her when I would stop by her house on the way to work . She will be in my prayers.

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints" Psalm 116:15 We praise and thank God for the life and the legacy of Sis. Lula M. Yarbrough, a faithful saint and servant of our LORD. To her children and the extended family, we pray that you will find comfort in these words from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, "Brothers and sisters, we don't want you to be ignorant about those who have died. We don't want you to grieve like other people who have no hope.  14 We believe that Jesus died and came back to life. We also believe that, through Jesus, God will bring back those who have died. They will come back with Jesus.  15 We are telling you what the Lord taught. We who are still alive when the Lord comes will not go into his kingdom ahead of those who have already died.  16 The Lord will come from heaven with a command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the dead who believed in Christ will come back to life.  17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive will be taken in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. In this way we will always be with the Lord.  18 So then, comfort each other with these words!" Know that she will be missed and long remembered. May our great God grant you His grace; surround you with His steadfast love; and provide without measure the peace that surpasses all understanding, as you mourn her loss and celebrate her life.

Our prayers and love go out to Lt. Monroe Yarbrough and his family at this time.  His fellow employees and friends at the City of Austin and the Austin Police Department are here for him during the home going of his precious mother, Ms. Lula Mae Yarbrough.  May she rest in the arms of Jesus forever.

To the Yarbrough, Scott, and other Families, just wanted you all to know during the Homegoing of your Mother that Edward & I are Praying with you and along with you for the Family to agree to accept what GOD has allowed...Which was almost 30 years longer than our Family was Blessed to share with ours...So Be Thankful for each & everyday you had her in your presence her on earth. Ms. Lula, Although the time I spent with you was brief, I feel I was truly blessed to be able to sit with you and share good thoughts and the goodness of GOD.  Your love ones are in my prayers.Smokey

To my family - Lift up your heads because you did all you could to make your mother's life comfortable and worry free.  The last time I saw her she was at peace.  We will miss Aunt Lula.  May God Bless You All.
