Myra Kerr, born July 16, 1938, passed on Sunday, June 17, 2018 with visits and good wishes that day from her children, grandchildren, sisters, and extended family. The youngest daughter of Lonnie and Frances Taylor of Austin, Texas, Myra was a proud native Austinite, growing up in Hyde Park, swimming at Shipe Pool and waterskiing on Lake Austin. Myra married the late Colonel Donald J. Kerr on December 14, 1956. Graduating from The University of Texas with an accounting degree in 1981, Myra became a Texas CPA, working as an Auditor for the State Department of Insurance and in private practice until her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Kempf (Joel) and Thomas Kerr (Amelia); grandchildren, Meghan, Loren, Rachel and Wesley; her sisters Jane Banks and Tommie Weaver; and her extended family.

Services: A simple prayer service and visitation, will be Saturday, June 23, at:1:00 p.m. at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750. The chapel will open at noon.
