Naomi attended Johnston High School and was an alternate majorette.
Naomi worked many jobs most notably at Hartford Insurance and retired from the Travis County Probations Department.
Naomi is preceded in death by her father Joe S. Pacheco, mother Guadalupe Marrero Pacheco, and brother Raymond (Randy) Pacheco.
Naomi is survived by her beloved husband Frank Flores; children Richard M. Ortiz (Ben Patterson), Robert Ortiz (Sharon Taylor): step-children Michael L. Flores, Juanita Ayala, Rhea L. Taylor (Val), Carla Flores-Keniston (David); brothers and sisters Mary Stevens of Houston, Texas, Joe A. Pacheco (Betty) of Bloomingdale, Michigan, Richard Pacheco of Holland, Michigan, Delores Martinez (Esiquio) of Austin, Texas, Jenita Widmeier (Jim) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Marita Perry (Ken) of Neiderwald, Texas, and Abigail Quintero (Richard Velasqez) of Austin, Texas; as well as by grandchildren and step-grandchildren Samuel Ortiz, Reinaldo Ayala Jr., Christian Ayala, Jose Ayala, Tiffany Ayala, Alexander Ayala, and Evelyn Keniston.
The family would like to thank the countless doctors, nurses, neighbors, and friends for all of their love, support and for the care and compassion they showed Naomi in her final days.
A visitation for Naomi will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3701 W Slaughter Ln, Austin, TX 78749. A graveside service will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A reception will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3701 West Slaughter Ln, Austin, TX 78749.
