He was a 2002 graduate of Huntington-Surrey school in Austin and a former student at Dripping Springs High School. He also attended Austin Community College. Most recently he worked in technology sales for Apple and Dell computer companies.
Nathan is survived by his parents Bruce and Shirley Whiteaker of Knoxville, TN., and by grandparents Betty Jo Shelton of Lubbock, TX. and Bass Shelton of Colorado Springs, CO. They would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at St. David’s ICU for their compassionate care and special attention from his primary nurse, Fritz Marthol.
Visitation will be at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin on Saturday, July 5th at 7:00pm. Services for Nathan will be at 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Nathan to St. Mark UMC, 7001 Northshore Dr., Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
