He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
He was a pediatrician in Illinois and later worked in pediatric minor care at Brackenridge Hospital.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Filemon and Beatriz Alincastre.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Teresa, daughters, Joyce Alincastre-Stone, Beatriz Scrimgeour and Olivia McAdamis, six grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
A visitation for Nestor will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, TX 78749. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 4800 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, TX 78749. A graveside service will occur Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749.
