Nettie June Mock

Nettie June Mock, age 77, of Austin, Texas passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. Nettie was born January 11, 1944 in Prince, West Virginia. Her passing was on July 12, 2021. She attended Table Rock School. (Name came from a big rock that was used for a table for picnics).

Nettie’s family moved from West Virginia to Franklin Ohio. One of her favorite things to do was going to the park in Franklin Ohio called Chautauqua ( The meeting place). She loved listening to her favorite country singers. She loved playing with her nieces and nephews. Still to this day she calls Vicky Stover and Cathy Greson her sisters and best friends. Nettie was very fond of Vicky's husband and he became the son she never had. Franklin Ohio is where she met and fell in love with Mack Mock. They were Married for 49 ½ years. Mack Mock died on June 11, 2010. Children: Catherine Lynn Mock (living), Sandra Leigh Mock (Deceased), Patrica Ann Mock Bleeker (living) Grand children: Britni Ann Bleeker Harmond, Michael Ryan Bleeker, Rachel Ellen Bleeker Marcoux Great Grandchildren: Nathan Lucas, Brady Marcoux, Emsley Harmond, Caleb Marcoux Mack and Nettie bought their first house on Valk St in Cedar, Park TX. This is when she met Lola Foreman. They became lifelong sisters and friends. Nettie played a big role in the Williamson County Community. She assisted with Blue Santa, Thanksgiving drive, School drives, and helped out with the Leander band.

Nettie loved reading harlequin romance stories. Nettie's other favorite thing to do was garage sales. This was her “me time”. Nettie was a beautiful and giving person. She worked hard and cared for her family.

Just wanted to include the Bluebonnets that June loved. I took this picture on our first trip to Texas I believe. Maybe after Mack's passing in June 2010. Everytime I see or hear about Bluebonnets I think of June 💙

June was a dear & special sister-in-law & Aunt to us and we will always fondly remember the wonderful times gathered around her table with unending cups of coffee! We cherish our visits to Texas, West Virginia & Ohio with June & Mack learning & sharing family stories. Our hearts are heavy with sadness & loss. Rest in Peace June and keep the coffee pot on for us!
