Nick Joseph Donofrio

Nick Joseph Donofrio, 69, a retired and decorated veteran of the US Air Force, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, among family. He was born to Joseph and Helen Donofrio on 10 May 1955 in New Castle, PA.

Nick attended public schools in New Castle, PA and received his Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University and was of the Catholic Faith. Nick loved the years he spent in the Air Force, retiring from active duty in October of 1995. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and had a very caring heart for animals. Nick was a gentle soul and will be missed by all who’ve ever known him.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Donofrio and infant son Nick Joseph Donofrio Jr. and is survived by his mother, Helen Rossano Donofrio in New Castle, PA. his wife of 25 yrs, Belinda Hall-White Donofrio in Austin, TX., sons, Nicholas G. Donofrio of Laramie, WY. and Daniel M. Donofrio of Austin, TX., sister Regina (Anthony) Verone of New Castle, PA. Sister in-law Charlissa Carter (Curtis), Brother in laws Tracy Collins of Austin, TX. Kenneth King of Buffalo, TX and Jeffrey Hall (Kim) of Austin, TX, nieces Christine Verone, Reanna Verone of Boardman, Ohio and Carissa Carter of Austin, TX. Nephews Anthony (Jamie) Verone of New Castle, PA. and Christopher Carter of Austin, TX. and a host of other relatives, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service with full military honors will be on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery,11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542, at 10AM.
