Nicole Ranee Palomo Wilkinson

Nicole is survived by her parents Ranee and Tracy Ruggles, children Luke Wilkinson and Olivia Darlene Abney, brother Nathan Ruggles and brother Jacob Palomo, sister Maggie Palomo. Nicole was blessed to be part of a large family and is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Waiting to welcome her into heaven are father Robert Palomo, grandparents George and Darlene Bunting, Janie and Cipriano Palomo, Exa and Jay Ruggles, great grandparents, and cousin Michael Register.

Nicky will be remembered as the quick witted, outgoing and vivacious comedy queen of the family. She was a ray of sunshine and an inspiration to everyone she touched...always the one with the brightest smile and greatest laugh. Nicky’s energy and light made sure you always knew when she entered a room. Often commanding center stage, she would use her talents for humor and happiness to put smiles on all of the faces around her. She loved spending time with family and friends and could spend an infinite number of hours telling stories and making jokes, or just being there for support whenever it was needed.

Nicky learned and shared many experiences during her life. Everything from personnel counseling to customer service, child care, and even home remodeling. She loved the outdoors and was always looking for new adventures.

Nicky was extremely intelligent and an amazing writer. She studied English Literature at Texas Lutheran University. She was a hard worker and put everything she had into the things she was most passionate about. Nicky was an animal lover and had a very special ability to deeply connect with animals, especially dogs. She was an amazing trainer and the love she had for her dogs was surpassed only by the love they had for her.

All in all, Nicky was the crazy caring friend/mom/daughter/sister that we all wish we could have had just a little more time with. Nicole will be greatly missed and never forgotten. She was dearly loved by family and friends and will be remembered always.

Visitation for Nicole will take place at Cook-Walden Funeral home on November 1st, 11am to 12pm. Services start at 12pm with a graveside ceremony to follow.
