Nina Murray Kendrick, age 94, of Austin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew G. Kendrick. She is survived by her sons, John Kendrick and wife, Barbara Jacobsen of Leonia, New Jersey, David Kendrick and wife, Gail of Austin, Bob Kendrick of Austin; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Nina was a student at Baylor University and had to leave during the depression. She went to work at the National Bank of Gatesville, Texas where she met and later married Andrew Kendrick. She returned to Baylor after raising her three sons and completed a degree in library science. Later she received a master in library science from Texas Womans University. She served as a librarian in the public schools in Gatesville, Texas for many years.
