Nora Jenkins Holder Nora Jenkins Holder died on June 13, 2004 in Llano, Texas. She was born August 10, 1902 in Cedar Hill, Texas and was a former resident of Austin. At age 15 Mrs. Holder was the seamstress and milliner for the first woman governor of Texas, Ma Ferguson. She worked and retired from Austex Chili Factory in Austin. Her special talent as a member of the National Doll Association brought her numerous blue ribbons. She is survived by her daughters, Arriwanna Chambers of Palestine and Helen (Pat) Kuhn of Llano; her son, Marshall V. Holder and his wife Maxine of Rusk; sister Emma Davis of Austin; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her sisters, Estea Jenkins, Vivian English and Bertha (Gay) Armsbee and brother Ira Holder.
