

She graduated from the University of Texas where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She taught school for several years before marrying T. C. Julian. She was a 50 year Honorary Life Member of the American Association of University Women. She belonged to the Andrew Carruthers Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and, was a long-time member of the Friendship Class of First Baptist Church.
She loved to travel and for 20-years she escorted groups to many parts of the world. She enjoyed playing bridge and belonged to many bridge clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, T. C. Julian, her sister, Lorraine Brady, and a brother, Myron Curtis.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Free and husband, Donald Free, of Austin, a sister, Charlotte Henderson and husband John of Austin(formerly of Baytown, Texas), and 2 grandchildren, Julia Burns and Jason Free of Austin.
The graveside service will be held December 27, 2011, at one o’clock in the afternoon at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or charity of your choice.
