Lynn was born in Austin, October 20, 1949 to Norma and Robert. She has one brother, Gary Pugh, who she adored with all her heart. As a child, growing up in Tarrytown, Lynn loved putting on plays in the neighborhood with her best friends and neighbors, she always loved entertaining anyone she was around. Making someone smile made her so happy. Lynn attended Casis, O’Henry, and Austin High School where she was part of AKH (All Kinds of Hell). One of her favorite fight songs was “Beer, beer for old Austin High”, a song she made sure both her sons and anyone attending AHS knew the lyrics to. She graduated from Austin High School in 1967. Shortly after, she gave birth to her first son, Hunter Spencer Arend, who she thought the world of. They were best friends and inseparable.
Following his birth, she went to work for the family business Larson-Pugh Inc. She was so proud of all the bridges her family built around Austin and the state of Texas. A graduate of the University of Texas with a BFA in studio art she loved painting and anything to do with art.

In 1988, she had her second son, Nabil Brent Remadna who she was very close with and loved going on road trips with. The two of them travelled all across the nation, no destination too far when Lynn was in the drivers seat.
Lynn also loved all her students. She was a substitute teacher at Casis, O’Henry and later became a high school guidance secretary at Austin High.
As a True Austinite, Lynn loved giving back and volunteering. She was a member of Junior Helping Hand, ABWA, Austin Women’s Symphony League, Simple Simon, Laguna Gloria, and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. She also served as a Cub Scout den mom to both her sons and was very active in PTA. She loved being the fortune teller at the Casis Carnival and her love for planning parties led her to start “Whatchawant” her party planning service which was top notch.
Lynn never met a stranger and loved making people laugh. Her motto: “Live, Laugh, Love”, and boy did she do that until the very end.
