Dr. Norman Donald Brown age 79, of Austin, Texas passed away on May 11, 2015. He retired after 48 years as a History Professor from the University of Texas. He was a member of the Civil War Round Table Austin Chapter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Brown.
Dr. Brown is survived by his son, David Lawrence Brown and wife Suzanne; daughter, Tracy Lynn Brown; sister, Rhondalynn Brown; granddaughter, Kristina Kathleen Brown.
Dr. Brown accepted his personal saviors request to come home. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Funeral Service 10:00 am on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
