My heart goes out to everbody in the extended Cothron family. I didn't get to know you as well as I would have liked while working for Cothrons 2003-2011. It was obvious from observing others who did know you that you were greatly admired by all of them.

Steve and Angela, Thank you for carrying on the legacy of this great man Olen Cothron! Your tribute letters yesterday at the funeral were so touching. I wanted to share another thing your dad and grandfather did for my mother, Barbara. He taught her a new love of watching sporting events, such as the Texas Rangers and even our favorite the SPURS. I would love hearing how excited she was to go watch the games with Olen on TV. My mother now has a new enriched hobby, and she can give us play by play details of a game. Thank you for sharing your dad and grandfather with us for these past 5 years.
Deborah Ayala, Barbara's daughter.

My husband, Garry Jensen, worked at Cothron's for many years. Both Garry and I were very fond of Olen and enjoyed many conversations with him. Steve, you were extremely kind to me and my family when Garry passed away. I thank you and will always remember the kindness of the entire Cothron family. May God bless and keep each of you.

My heartfelt condolences to Barbara and the rest of Olen's family. May he rest in peace after a long, successful and interesting life. As my next door neighbor he was a good friend to me throughout his time in the Park West neighborhood

I had the privilege of meeting you a couple of times after you and Barbara were married. Barbara spoke of you all the time, and was always telling me what a kind and gentle person you were. I know Barbara will cherish all the wonderful memories you have left for her.

Mr C, you convinced me to stay in Texas almost 30 years ago and work for you. You adviced me, gave me guidance occasionally, even when I didn't want it or know I needed it. You were a very special person to all who knew you and to those that were fortunate enough to work for you, you were always more than just an employer. Thank you for everything and you will be greatly missed. Rest easy Mr C.
