Pamela Marie Preston (Pam) of Austin, Texas passed away on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born on June 13, 1954 in Nurenburg, Germany. Because she was raised in a military family, she was able to visit several countries in her lifetime.
When she came to Austin, she was hired by the city and eventually worked in the Development Service Department as an administrative Assistant until she retired on September 21,2023.
She appeared to be at her happiest while actively involved in playing Dungeons & Dragons and going to many Renaissance Festivals
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas H Preston and Arlene C. Preston and is survived by her brother Michael T Preston.
Since her wish was to be cremated, a memorial gathering will be held at Asumption Cemetary following the delivery of a headstone at later date.
