

Patricia Ann Zarr Bryars-age 76, passed away suddenly in Austin, Texas on December 13, 2022 after a short illness and will be greatly missed by everyone. She was born on August 28, 1946, in Great Falls, Montana to Jack and Mary Zarr.
During her life, she worked for the State of Texas for over 30 years until retiring for a second time in 2020. During that time she participated in the annual EMS conferences for many years. Both Pat and Hugh enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and taking cruises often.
Hugh and Patricia Bryars are long term parishioners of St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic Church, where Hugh is a founding member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 8156.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Zarr, brother, Ronald Zarr and husband Hugh Bryars.
Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Christine Wade of Creedmoor, Texas, son, Sam Rotolo, III of Lubbock, Texas, son Hugh R. (Paula) Bryars, III of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, daughter Karyn (Rodney) Bailey of Dallas, Texas, son, Jeff (Beth) Bryars of Pflugerville, Texas; grandchildren Matthew Wade, Ashely Tucker-Wade, Andrew Bryars, Avery Bryars, Autumn Nye and Summer Rotolo; great-grandchildren, Aiden Tucker, Noah Nye and 2 others. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Gail Zarr.
Visitation 5:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749) with Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held in February at St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic Church (4800 Convict Hill Rd., Austin, TX 78749). A date for the memorial service has not been set yet.
