Patricia Jean Grizzle

Patricia, wife, mother and Nana was a stay at home mother of five, her passions were painting, bowling, crafts and most of all, her grandkids. She exemplified sacrificial love as she invested all her time and energy as a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley J. Grizzle, Sr.; her son, Harley J. Grizzle, Jr.; and by her sister, Nancy Slagle.

She is survived by her sons, Dave Grizzle and wife, Sonia, Steve Grizzle and wife, Deborah, Jim Grizzle and wife, Raeann; daughter, Laura Weaver; sister and brother-in-law, Kitty and Matt Lutz; and by her 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the following: Laura and her children for taking care of mom for many months during her illness; Dave and Sonia for welcoming mom into their home caring for mom during her last months; and to Kenni LeBlanc for being mom’s dearest friend, constant companion and caregiver; Al for sacrificing time with his wife, as she spent so many hours with mom; Steve for keeping mom’s house and yard beautiful; and longtime friends, Kay Otto and Maureen Lot. The Grizzle family is forever thankful as you made mom’s last days more pleasant.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
