Her remains will be scattered in beautiful places.
Patricia was born on Sept. 27, 1948, in Beaumont to the late Bob R. and Billie Wanda Hubbard. Her family moved to Houston when she was young, and later to San Antonio where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1971, where she also received her Master's degree in Education in 1974.
She taught in public schools as a teacher and a counselor at all levels from elementary through high school for more than 30 years. She became board certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor and began a private psychotherapy practice in 1993 that she continued until her death.
She is survived by scores of people who loved her.
Her friends and family are grateful to the care provided by her healing team throughout the past 14 months, including Hospice Austin for their loving care near the end.
