Patricia Ann Morgan

She was an Austin native and a graduate of Travis High School. Her work included managing a local law office and serving with the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General. In her personal life, Pat had deep faith in Christ which guided service to her church and her community. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, guided Girls in Action, and led Girl Scouts.

She gave generously to those who were blessed to know her. To her husband of 58 years she gave a lifetime of devotion, respect, and love. To her children she passed on her quick wit, easy laugh, and clear-eyed pragmatism. To her children-in-law she provided genuine welcome and friendship. To her grandchildren she offered joyful adoration and gentle guidance. And to her friends she provided a ready ear and an encouraging voice.

She is survived by her husband James Shelby Morgan Jr.; and her children Elizabeth Ann Morgan Miller and Jeffrey Alan Miller, Tracy Lynn Morgan Saegert and Shannon Saegert, and James Shelby Morgan III (Trey) and Erin Heinz Morgan; as well as 6 grandchildren, Jamieson Patrick Miller, Jeremy Morgan Miller, Emily Caroline Miller Bowen, Kathryn Elizabeth Saegert, James Shelby Morgan IV, and Tyler Jenna Morgan.
