

Patricia Marie Rodenbusch, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away September 7th, 2022 in Austin, Texas at the age of ninety-three. She was born March 25th, 1929 in Peoria, Illinois to Richard Francis Anderson and Stacia Elizabeth Kelley Anderson.
She graduated from Academy of Our Lady High School in 1946. After graduation, she continued working at Caterpillar Tractor where she had worked during the war. At Cat, she met the love of her life, Harold Lee Rodenbusch. The two were married March 31st, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois. Soon after their wedding, she and Harold moved to Puerto Rico for two years and then moved to Bogota Colombia where they lived for six years. They then returned to the US and set up house in Irving, Texas.
Her legacy to her children is the seventy-one year example of how to be a loving wife and mother. She will be remembered for the principles which were the cornerstone of her life: integrity, honesty, and devotion to family. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, and brothers Richard Francis Anderson, John Edward Anderson and Gerald Thomas Anderson. She is survived by her son George Rodenbusch and wife Nancy of Dripping Springs, Texas and their children Brenda Margaret Rodenbusch and her husband John, Stacia Elizabeth Rodenbusch and her husband Eric, and George Wilhelm Rodenbusch and his wife Cora; her daughter Joan Allen and husband Bill of Austin, Texas, their children Kimberly Denise Booker and her husband Brian, and Westley David Allen and his wife Jessica; her daughter Lea Holland and husband John of Dallas, Texas, their children Matthew Davis and Gregory James; her daughter Dr. Phyllis Elsishans and husband Richard of Sarasota, Florida, and their children Ashley Tate King and her husband Cameron, Nathan Barrett, and Rebecca Paige; her son Richard Rodenbusch and children Lauren Michelle Yoder and her husband John, Jacob Ryan, Andy, and Brandon Thomas; and her daughter Elizabeth Smith and her husband Norman of Dallas, Texas, and their children Hunter Alexander and Carsten Elise. She leaves thirteen great grandchildren and more extended family, all of whom will miss her humor, wit, and love of life.
A celebration of her life will be held at County Line Barbeque on 2222 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Monday September 12th.
