

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Lisle and Catherine Whitehill. She graduated Wichita Falls High School in 1960. Pat married Edward Arnold Halter on September 4th, 1961. She is survived by her husband Ed, and her 3 sons, David (Jennifer) of Austin, Texas, Robert (Denise) of Elgin, Texas, and John (Pam) of Austin, Texas, as well as 9 grandchildren in order: Jimmy, Jack, Maddie, Joe, Betsy, Bonnie, Kate, John and Jacob. Additionally she is survived by 2 sisters, Nan Ruddy of Petrolia, Texas, Kay Vickerman of Fort Collins, Colorado and brother Richard Whitehill of Leander, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Whitehill.
Pat loved racing sailboats with family and friends and was an avid photographer, artist and genealogist. She also owned and operated a local business, Austin Sail and Canvas.
She was an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Flower Committee.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend, and neighbor, and will be sadly missed by all.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, the 1st of August at five o’clock in the evening until seven o’clock in the evening at Cook Walden Funeral Home; 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas with a rosary being recited at six o’clock in the evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, the 2th of August at ten o’clock in the morning at St. Theresa Catholic Church; 4311 Small Drive Austin, Texas with Msgr. William Brooks as Celebrant.
