

Patty Jean Necker, 80, was peacefully taken to Heaven on April 26th surrounded by family at her home in Austin, TX. She had a 4 year long courageous battle with Stage IV lung cancer. She was a loving Mother, Wife, Daughter, and Grandmother.
Patty was born on December 8, 1933 in Centerville, Iowa to Calvin and Elizabeth Clemens. She went to Central High School and then to Cosmetology School and was a licensed beautician in both Iowa and Texas. After moving to Austin in 1976 she worked many years at Siemens/Eagle signal, where she was the manufacturing floor supervisor, and 11 years with the Round Rock School district. Patty, above all else, was a wife, mother and grandmother. In later years she and John enjoyed traveling extensively with friends. She was a long time member of Saint Thomas More Catholic church.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Elizabeth Clemens and brother, Jerry Clemens, all of Davenport, Ia. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years John Necker, Daughter Vicki Nixon and her husband Rick, two grandsons Johnny and Jake of Houston, and Son Michael Necker and his wife Colleen and family of Cedar Park.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday May 8, 2014 at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church on Hwy 620 a light lunch will follow the service at the church.
