

Paul Williams Kyle was born June 18, 1936 in Kyle Holler, Tennessee. He died on Thursday, May 30th following a courageous battle against lung cancer. He was welcomed into heaven by his wife of 46 years, Elaine Humphries Kyle, infant daughter Betty Jean Kyle, son Bobby Glenn Kyle, grandson Robert Wayne Hocutt, parents Robert Harrison Kyle and Lydia Williams Kyle, brother Denver, and sisters Mazelle Christian and Helen Robinson. Paul is survived by his wife Angelita, beloved sister Donia Adkins (Kenneth) of Woodbine, GA., son Craig (Norma) of Kyle, TX, daughters Paula Attaway (David) of Mineola, TX, Pamela Hocutt (Gerald) of Angleton, TX, stepchildren Marcy, Cathy & Johnny Felix, grandchildren Yvette & Amber Reyes, Jonathan Grigsby of Reno, NV, Jeremy Grigsby of Las Vegas, NV, Craig Donato Kyle, Jayani Felix, Tati Lopez, Alicia, Estrella, Madison, and Angel, great-grandchildren Sonya and Angel Reyes, and long time family friend Joe Reyes.
Paul retired at Bergstrom A.F.B. as a Master Sargeant in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a Crew Chief in the Strategic Air Command. Paul loved God, his family and friends, and his country. He loved going to church, riding his motorcycle, bowling with his wife, sons, and friends on leagues at Westgate Lanes where he was known as “PK” and he managed the Pro Shop for many years. Paul always had a great sense of humor and loved laughing and having a good time. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Viewing will be held a Cook-Walden Funeral Home (6300 West William Cannon Dr., Austin, TX 78749) on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be at Cook-Walden Funeral Home from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by burial with full military honors at Capital Memorial Park, 14501 North I-35, Pflugerville, TX. A meal and time of fellowship will be provided by Father Mike and Paul’s church family at First Independent Baptist Church, 8401 Bluff Springs Rd, Austin, TX, at 4:30 p.m. for all family and friends at approx. 4:30 p.m.
