Paul Robert Peters

Paul R. Peters died of heart complications on February 14, 2015. He was born on January 11, 1930. Paul retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than twenty years of service. He served his country in Japan, France, and Germany before returning to the States.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alice, beloved wife of more than 50 years Bessie Lou Peters, son Paul R. Peters Jr., and grandson Paul R. Peters, III. He is survived by his son William “Pete” Peters, daughter-in-law Debra Peters; grandson Michael Heath and wife Stephanie, and great grandchildren, Haleigh, Brayson, and Addie Heath.

Paul was a strong and giving man who loved God and his family. He was the one standing at the doors of church giving out handshakes and hugs to everyone before services.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family at one o’clock followed by a funeral service at two o’clock, on Thursday, the 19th of February 2015, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
