Paul Joseph Tannous passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the age of 74. He was born in Austin, Texas to Sam and Rose Tannous on September 19, 1946. He graduated from Austin High School and went on to Southwest Texas State University. He later went to Austin Community College where he pursued his interest in photography. Paul enjoyed working with his brother Sam at the car lot, buying and selling used cars. He spent his entire life in Austin near family and friends and will forever be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his heart of gold, and his loving sense of humor.
Paul is survived by his brother, Sam Tannous Jr.; wife, Molly; his nieces, Laura Tannous Foster and husband Michael, and Cheryl Tannous Hyak; his nephew, Sam Tannous III and wife Dawn. He is also survived by his six great-nieces; Ashley Nichols, Kelsey Nichols and husband Nathan, Cristen Nichols, Rose Hyak, Miriam Hyak and Sabrina Tannous; his great-nephew, Anthony Hyak. Also by his aunts, Genevieve Kouri and Helen Naufel; his uncles, Raymond Joseph and Robert Joseph. Paul has touched the lives of many and will be forever missed.
Visitation 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home 2620 South Congress.
Graveside Service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Assumption Cemetery 3650 S IH 35 Frontage Rd, Austin TX 78704 with Monsignor Donald Sawyer.
